SMS Terms: Staff Text Alerts

Who sends these messages

DJ's Resort & Rentals (LAKE ALVIN HEIGHTS LLC d.b.a. DJS RESORT and DJS RENTALS LLC) sends text alerts to its own employees who have opted in. The messages are about their work: task reminders, reservation alerts and daily operations updates. This program sends no marketing or promotional messages.

Texts to guests about reservations, and marketing texts guests opt in to, are a separate program. They are covered by our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

How staff opt in

When an employee first signs in to the DJ's staff site, a “Text message alerts” screen asks them to choose between “Yes, text me alerts” and “No texts”. Neither is selected in advance, and agreeing is not required to use the staff site. To opt in, the employee enters their mobile number, reads the terms below, ticks “I agree”, and signs by typing their full name. The date is recorded with the signature. We send one confirmation text when they opt in.

Message frequency and cost

Msg frequency varies with the employee's schedule and assigned work. Msg & data rates may apply, depending on the employee's mobile plan.

Help and opting out

• Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one message confirming it, and no more after that.
• Reply START to opt back in.
• Reply HELP for help. The reply is: “DJ's Resort & Rentals staff alerts. For help call 605-975-5253 or email info@djsresort.com. Reply STOP to opt out.”
• Employees can also turn text alerts on or off, or change their number, from their profile in the staff site.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We share them only with the service provider that delivers our messages (Twilio), which may use them only to provide that service. See our Privacy Policy.
